Spiders in the bath

It's a common misconception that spiders get into the bath via the plug hole. This is not the case. Rather, they are in the house already and enter the bath in search of water which is located in the plug hole.

Whether they get any water is immaterial. They are such dimwits that they are now trapped in the bath unable to climb out the steep slippery surface.

The only way to get them out is to call your missus: there is NO OTHER OPTION.

Do not let her put it outside because it will just come back in and you'll have the whole sorry scenario to deal with again.

That's all I have to say on the matter.
